"Where food and fellowship connect... in faith & worship"

The Cafe Fellowship was birthed out of Another Chance Ministry Network (ACMN)... the Holy Spirit directed the McKnights to form (April 2008) at Bible Deliverance Temple, where they were Senior Pastors in Augusta Georgia. On the first Sunday morning of 2008, brother Jim Jewell (guitarist with the Eryn Eubank's band "The Family Fold") shared that he was impressed for us to reach out... to those who were "down and out," those who had fallen down and help them get back up with a special weekly service! This vision was birthed with one pot of grits, a couple pans of toast, a few dozen eggs, a little sausage and bacon. However, it quickly grew to averaging over 150 meals every Sunday morning, with Worship - Word - Food and Fellowship! This service became known as the “Sunday Morning Cafe Service.” 

As it grew, the McKnights, along with the ACMN ministry staff including many volunteers and the BDT ministry family, along with other supporters, from all walks of life, averaged feeding in excess of 1000 free hot meals each month from their church campus. This feeding-ministry program continues to this day and has grown as the official outreach of Bible Deliverance Temple. 

Upon the McKnight's relocation to Jacksonville Florida, the Holy Spirit impressed them to continue ministry centered around Worship, Word, Food and Fellowship... especially with those in need of support while focusing on connecting, encouraging, assisting our Street Friends and Beach Friends of the First Coast. 

Early 2020 until present, the Cafe Fellowship (CF) with its “Worship – Word – Food & Fellowship” model, ministers weekly in partnership with New Dawn Outreach (NDO). They're also joined by various area organizations who share a calling to serve Florida’s First Coast Street Friends… and from all walks of life, connecting them (over 350) to Jesus… sharing over 1000 free hot meals monthly and connecting many with needed assistance for various personThe Café Fellowship is committed to “connecting the disconnected… relationally” with God, family, and friends, through Worship, Word, Food and Fellowship.
